Ozonators by Del Ozone

The Eclipse™ line consists of three models: Eclipse™-1, Eclipse™-2 and Eclipse™-4. The Eclipse™-1 is designed for use on pools from 7,000 gallons (primary) to 25,000 gallons (supplemental), the Eclipse™-2: 15,000 gallons (primary) to 50,000 gallons (supplemental) and the Eclipse™-4: 25,000 gallons (primary) to 100,000 gallons (supplemental).

The ECLIPSE units are designed for installation with an adjustable injector manifold plumbed into the main return line after all other pool equipment as shown below. The Del ECLIPSE will operate in unison with the pool's main time clock. You need to buy the appropriate Parts Bag to complete your installation. You'll need either the single speed or 2 speed pump parts bag.

Del Corona Discharge ozonator produce far more ozone than comparably sized UV ozonators. The Del ECLIPSE line of CD ozone generators produce up to 3 times the concentration of ozone produced by a UV generator. The Del ECLIPSE units produce ozone concentrations reaching 1,350 ppm while UV generators top at about 550 ppm.

The DEL TOTAL ECLIPSE is for in-ground pools and pool/spa combinations with a water capacity of 25,000 gallons and over.

The ultimate sanitation solution for in-ground pools. With its built-in circulation pump and injector assembly, the DEL TOTAL ECLIPSE generator is designed to recirculate pool water and inject ozone 24 hours a day. The DEL TOTAL ECLIPSE installs independent of pool equipment and will operate regardless of whether your pool system is on or off.

Dispersion Method: Installs for circulation of pool water across pool equipment. Plumbs off the main circulation pipe after the filter and before the heater as shown below.

The DEL SPA ECLIPSE uses solid state electronics to eliminate voltage spikes that can upset spa-pack electronics or trip the G.F.C.I. Finally, water backup into the DEL SPA ECLIPSE will not harm the unit or trip the spa's G.F.C.I.

Q: What is the difference between the Stand Spa Eclipse Ozonator and the Platinum Series Spa Eclipse Ozonators?

A: The Platinum Spa Eclipse has a flow restrictor which allows less air flow through the system. Less air flow means there is less overall production of ozone but nearly double the concentration of ozone. The main thing to consider when comparing ozonators is the concentration of Ozone. The specifications of each unit is as follows:

Standard Spa Eclipse - 35 Mg of Ozone @ 300 Parts Per Million
Platinum Spa Eclipse - 20 Mg of Ozone @ 500 Parts Per Million

The Platinum Ozonator is rated at a 15,000 hour life span where the standard unit is rated at 9,000 hours, so the platinum will last almost twice as long.

The Platinum Eclipse does not have a replaceable chip, so after the 15,000 hours you would need to replace the entire unit.

For installation into spas with water capacity up to 1,000 gallons. Plumbs into all ozone-ready spas or the spa return line. Injects ozone through venturi when the spa circulation system operates.

For spas where the air venturi is inaccessible, inconveniently located, or provides insufficient suction, a DEL injector manifold may be used. These installations are also used if an air-blower is used to "supercharge" jets.

1-speed pumps require DEL injector manifold IU-206 (NSF listed)

The power supply and ozone generator snap together for easy replacement and mount horizontally or vertically into the mounting clamps secured to a solid surface.

Installation recommendations: Use water trap in ozone supply tubing, and install above the water level to prevent water from backing into the unit. Mount the unit 5 feet from the spa.
